- - - - - - - AIR NOMADS[/size]SKY BISON - Bison and manatee cross. This beast has six legs and a large tail used for Airbending. This large creature has a pattern on its fur that makes a brown arrow coming from its head to the tip of its tail. Sky bison are able to fly.
WINGED-LEMUR - Lemur, bat, and possibly a cat cross. Lemurs have thin bodies, a long twisting tail, and large bat-like ears. They are usually pets for the Air Nomads. Winged-Lemurs are able to fly.
HERMIT CRAB - A crab that switches shells when it outgrows its last. These somewhat fluffy animals are covered with black and white hair, their claws a crimson red. Hermit Crabs are small little things.
FIREFLY - These animals are just as their name suggests, fireflies. They are used for a natural light, making it easy to sea in the dark. They're eye candy at night.
- - - - - - - WATER TRIBES
ARCTIC HEN - Arctic hens are bread merely for meat. You might have guessed, this animal is a cross between an arctic fox and a Hen.
ARCTIC HIPPO - Just a hippo that lives in the freezing cold weather. The Water Tribes hunt these hippos for their blubber.
ARCTIC SEAL - A regular old seal that is found living in the South Pole on some drifting glaciers, not a thread, just loud beasts.
BUFFALO YAK - This beast is a yak and a buffalo cross. A large furry beast used for transportation, with a soft brown coat, and a white underbelly with curling horns on its crown.
KOALAOTTER - A koala and otter mix. This beast lazily drifts through the North Pole waters with its flat tail. Big large ears and a big black nose, the mammal has a light brown and white furry body.
OCTOPUS - An eight-legged squishy being that lives on the bottom of the sea undisturbed.
PENGUIN - Penguins are actually a cross between otters and regular penguins. With a pelt black and white, these creatures have four flippers, and are used for penguin sledding, something that children enjoy.
POLAR BEAR DOG - A pet for the South Pole inhabitants. Being the size of a large dog, these animals have short ears and a red nose. Its pelt is mostly white, despite a black stripe reaching from its head and down its back.
POLAR LEOPARD - Used for a warm pelt, these carnivorous beasts prey on Turtle Seals and Tiger Seals. The large animals are found both at the North Pole and the South.
POLAR MOUSE - Polar bear and mouse mix. The small animal is hardly a threat to anyone, and is usually prey to bigger mammals.
SEA SPONGE - An invertebrate living under the sea without much purpose but making things look prettier.
TIGER SEAL - Tiger seals are found in the South Pole, having tanned bodies with black stripes running along the skin and pointy ears. They are usually hunted for meat.
TURTLE SEAL - A turtle and seal cross. The dark colored animal has four flippers for fast swimming, and are extremely loud, barking in the North Pole region. They live in herds, with green turtle shells on their back.
WHITE HAMSTER - Hamster and cat cross. Although it is the size of a mouse, it looks a lot like a cat, found in all regions of the world. This mammals squeaks like a rat, and have flat white tails.
- - - - - - - EARTH KINGDOM
ANT - The typically small ant, eating what others leave in the trash, bugging you when you're picnicking, pun not intended.
ARMADILLO BEAR - Just a large beast crossed between a bear and an armadillo.
ARMADILLO LION - Armadillo and lion cross. The large beast has the body and head of a lion, yet the back of the beast is covered in an armadillo-like shell, making it capable of curling up and rolling around.
BADGERMOLE - A badger and a mole cross. These giant beasts were the first Earthbenders, and are blind. They wait and listen and travel through caves, rarely seen.
BLUE BIRD - Just like the name, the blue bird is just a bird with blue feathers.
BEAR - A regular bear, strange right? The Earth King once had one until he decided to travel the world long ago, and apparently it breaded. Regular bears are still rare.
BEARDED CAT - A thin cat with a dark tan and light tan pelt. With short hair, this animal is medium sized with long, pointed ears. However, its pupils are rounded, not slits, and it gets its name from the long fur on its face that take shape of a beard.
BOAR-Q-PINE - Boar and porcupine cross. An enormous animal, almost as large as flying bison. These beasts are savages, having the body like a boar with large tusks, yet their fur is spiky and dangerous.
BULL ANTELOPE - Antelope and bull mix. This breed has a bulky body like a bull, yet is built like an antelope with large curling horns on its head, and beady black eyes. Bull antelope have a brown shaded pelt.
BULL PIG - Bull pigs are very large, almost as big as bull antelope. It has the body and general appearance of a boar and cattle. It has a large head compared to the rest of its body, from it emerge a pair of sharp, white tusks and horns on it's head
BUZZARD WASP - Living in large nests in the desert, these large bugs buzz around with vulture heads and giant wasp-like bodies. These insects are scavengers, feeding on leftovers, and are very territorial.
CANYON CRAWLER - This beast is large, and very dangerous, living in the Great Divide, it feeds on those who have food. Canyon crawlers are crossed between crocodiles and spiders. A fury body, long four legs, and a long pointed mouth.
CAT OWL - A cat and owl cross. Having the head of a cat, the rest of this animal's body is that like an own, though its claws are like cat's paws. Its tail is also like a cat. Cat owls live mostly in the forest, but some keep them as pets.
CATGATOR - Catfish and alligator cross. This large beast is found in the Foggy Swamp, befriended by the Foggy Swamp Tribe. This short creature moves its body close to the ground, having about 8 feet, and large whiskers like a catfish's.
DRAGONFLY - This beast is a cross between a lizard and a dragonfly. They have long, lizard-like bodies with thin dragonfly wings, resembling the traditional Chinese dragon.
DUCK - These little beasts are just ducks, nothing special about them really, still, they look rather bizarre compared to the rest of the animals found in the world.
ELBOW LEECH - Found in the Foggy Swamp. This worm-like creature is a dark green with yellow dots on its sides. Like its name suggests, this large leech attaches itself to your elbow.
ELEPHANT CAMEL - A beast that is a cross between an elephant and a camel. Found in the desert, they are usually used for transportation.
ELEPHANT KOI - Cross between elephants and koi fish. These huge fish are fed upon by the Unagi, and are found off the coast of Kyoshi Island. They are yellow and orange.
ELEPHANT MANDRILL - An Elephant Mandrill is a large quadruped that has the large body of an elephant, with the head and colorful face of a mandrill, a baboon-like monkey.
FLY - Just an annoying little insect that enjoys sitting on your food, and swarming around trash. Annoying little pests they are.
FLYING BOAR - A large tan boar, with bird-like wings attached to its back. This boar was the symbol of the Bei Fong family.
FOX ANTELOPE - An animal that is a cross between a fox and an antelope, if that wasn't obvious already. This tan-pelted animal is pretty much all antelope, with long legs and spiraling horns, except for its long ears, and long bushy tail.
GIANT BEETLE - Self explanatory. These giant beetles are used for transportation in the desert around the Misty Palms Oasis area. They are used by the Beetle-Head Merchants for moving merchandise quickly through the sand.
GIANT FLY - Just a giant annoying insect. They buzz around the Foggy Swamp, and are eaten by the Foggy Swamp Tribe.
GIANT NIGHT CRAWLER - A huge worm, slithering around underground without being noticed too much.
GOPHER-BEAR - A cross between a gopher and a bear of course. These large brown bears have huge gopher teeth.
EEL HOUND - Hound and eel cross. This is a giant eel with four legs and broad shoulders. Usually used for transportation across the water, it kicks itself across. Not band for land travel either, the fastest animal.
ELEPHANT RAT - A small animal that has the body and tail and face of a rat, yet has an elephant's trunk. Its pelt is a very dark brown, but white blotches are found around its eyes, like a bandit.
GLOW FLY - This little insect is found in the Foggy Swamp. When it lights up, it appears much larger than it really is. Its whole appearance is swallowed by a white ball of light.
GORILLA GOAT - With a large body of a gorilla, this beast has goat features all over. Its legs hind legs are hooves, and it has floppy ears and large horns. The gorilla goat's forearms at large like a gorilla's, and it has large menacing teeth.
HOPPY-POSSUM - A frog and a possum mix, usually found where it is wet, like next to a pong or in the Foggy Swamp.
HYBRID PIGS - There are many different types of pigs. There are wooly-pigs, moo-sow, pickens, and pigsters, all crosses between farm animals and pigs, usually used by farmers in the Earth Kingdom.
HOG MONKEY - A cross between a hog and a monkey. This animal's pelt is a dark brown, and its body is like a monkey, yet its head is like that of a hog, dark red beady eyes with tusks and pointed ears.
HOPPING LLAMA - A llama that can hop of course. They're just regular llamas found in the desert, used for transportation, and well, they hop like kangaroos.
JACKALOPE - A jackrabbit and an antelope cross. Found in forests of course, all over the world.
MEADOW VOLE - Rodents that live in the forests. Being mice-like they are likely to live in many other areas as well. These little mammals are friendly towards people, yet are startled by little threats.
OSTRICH HORSE - A brown bird, standing on two chicken legs, the size of a horse. Its thin, large neck is covered with fur, and its tail is long and straight like a horse's.
PLATYPUS BEAR - Cross between platypus and bear. This large beast has the body of a bear, yet a bill and tail like a platypus. Hidden inside its flat black bill is are small white teeth. Lays eggs, has webbed feet.
POODLE MONKEY - A poodle and a monkey cross. Found in Ba Sing Se, usually owned by the rich and snobby because these monkey's have impressive poofy coats.
PURPLE PENTAPUS - Something that resembles and octapus, yet it has five eyes and five tentacles. Found in the sewers of Omashu, these small little things are a shade of light and dark purple.
PYGMY PUMAS - Like regular pumas, except bred to be shorter and stubbier, like house cats. They were bred to be housed in Ba Sing Se as pets, with a dark brown pelt and razor sharp teeth.
RABBAROO - A cross between a rabbit and a kangaroo. These animals have the body of a kangaroo and a face of a rabbit. Usually a tanned underbelly and dark brown pelt.
RABBIT - A typical long-eared rabbit; white fur, fuzzy cotton tail, adorable beady eyes, and ears that are almost an inch or two longer than the full length of its body. They are also incredibly fast.
RAVEN EAGLE - Cross between a raven and an eagle. Its body is bulky and brown like that of an eagle's, and its head is sharp and long like that of a raven's. The beast's head is white, with red markings around its neck.
REPTILE BIRD - The reptile bird has a slim body like a reptile, and legs like a reptile. Yet, its whole body is covered with feathers, a long feathery tail, and wings. Spikes outstretch from the back of its neck, and it has a hooked beak.
SABER-TOOTH MOOSE-LION - This beast is colored dark brown from head to toe. It has the tail and paws of a lion, yet the bodily structure of a moose, along with antlers, and still has large saber-like teeth.
SCORPION - A poisonous insect that lives in the desert with a hooked tail, six legs, and large claws.
SCREAMING BIRD - A pudgy bird with white feathers puffing out completely, making it look like a big ball of fluff, nearly covering its eyes. Its large beak is used to chirp its scary scream of a song, and this animal is found in the Foggy Swamp.
SERPENT - This thin, armored green sea dragon is found at the Serpent's Pass. Although, it is not impossible to find them in the South Pole, there have been spottings of baby serpents in the ocean.
SE-TU - A large green catfish found in the southern and western part of the Earth Kingdom in rivers. This fish is known for constantly jumping in and out of the water, as if taunting people.
SCORPION BEE - A cross between the insect that dwells in the desert and a buzzing bee. Still very poisonous, yet hardly spotted.
SHIRSHU - Shirshus are rather rare, and have a somewhat large body. It has a big body, somewhat like a fox's, and has no true eyes, it uses its mole-like nose to navigate, uses scents to find its way.
SINGING GROUNDHOG - Furry little brown creatures that live in holes underground. They live in large colonies, and respond well to notes played on the flute, and they respond through their own chirpish singing.
SKUNK-BEAR - A nasty cross between a skunk and a bear. They live in forests, like most other bear crosses, and scare off their enemies by spraying their nasty scent all over the place.
SPARROWKEET - A dove-sized green bird with a cute yellow head, except around the eyes their feathers turn white. These small birds are usually kept for pets, and are hardly found in the wild.
TURKEY DUCK - A white duck with two webbed feet, two wings, and stubby tail feathers. These ducks have the band of skin wrapped around their beaks like a turkey does. They're usually used for food.
TURTLE FROG - Frog and turtle cross. These little reptiles lay eggs like a sea turtle on the sandy beaches, and leave to go back into the ocean.
UNAGI - This beast in enormous, and is like a water dragon. Instead of living in the mountains, it lives off the coast of Kyoshi Island, and instead of breathing fire, it breaths water. This giant serpent feeds on elephant koi, and isn't safe to ride.
WOLFBAT - Wolfbats are a cross between wolves and bats. hey are the size of a wolf, but have wings and are able to fly just like a bat. They dwell in caves in the Earth Kingdom.
WOOD FROG - Mostly a regular frog that lives in the swamps. During the winter season, it settles at the bottom of the pond and freezes. Good for healing the sick.
- - - - - - - FIRE NATION
BADGERFROG - The badgerfrog is a furry, hopping animal that is indigenous to the western Fire Nation. At first look, the badgerfrog seems cute and harmless, but if cornered by a predator, it will defend itself by hopping, clawing, and biting angrily.[/blockquote]
CAVE-HOPPER - Little white insects that live in caves in the Fire Nation. They're like grasshoppers. They dislike the light, so they dwell in the dimly lit areas of the caves.
COW HIPPO - Cross between cow and hippo, this large animal is a meat-eating domesticated beast. Its legs are stubby and its mouth is long and flat, like a hippos. They are used for meat, despite them being meat eaters.
DRAGON - Dragons taught the people how to Firebend, and are can be befriended by those who are Firebenders. These reptile's bodies are thin and move like liquid, with short wings attached to its upper body.
DRAGON MOOSE - Used to pull carriages in the Fire Nation, dragon moose have the body of a moose, yet its face has little amphibian-like wings, as well as on its hooves.
KOALA SHEEP - Koala sheep have the face and big ears of a koala, yet the fluffy fluff body of a sheep. They are found on the cliffs of the Fire Nation near the edge of forests.
KOMODO RHINO - Bred for meat and for riding, these beasts have the body of a rhino. They have large slithery tails, clawed feet, and large horns attached to its head.
MESSENGER HAWK - These colorful birds are trained and bred especially for transferring messages across the Fire Nation. You can buy one easily, and they have large wingspans for easy flying.
MONGOOSE DRAGON - Mongoose Dragons are very similar to plumed basilisks in its markings and raised chest, as well as a few plumed areas of skin above the head. They skid across water in a strange manner.
SEA LION - A large and strong animal, the sea lion is used in the Fire Nation to pull on engine-less and sail-less boats. Its skin is pinkish-brown, with a tan underside.
LION TURTLE - This giant beasts are very rare. There is only one, and it is ancient, its age isn't known. Their shells are as big as an island, and they hold great wisdom and knowledge.
SNAIL SLOTH - Snail and sloth mix, usually their name is used as an insult to call someone very, very slow.
TOUCAN-PUFFIN - Small, fish eating birds with colorful beaks with orange and red markings. They're mostly black feathered, with a white underbelly, yet they have few red and blue feathers. Found on coasts.
TURTLE DUCK - Cross of a turtle and a duck. These animals are pretty domesticated, found in small ponds. Golden ducks with green shells. These amphibians have webbed feet and lay eggs.
VULTURE GRIFFIN - This beast has the body of a lion with an orange pelt. Yet, its head and neck have no feathers. White feathers expand in a poofy matter from its shoulders, and then it expands to black wings, outstretching with a wide wingspan.
